WHAbp Whapb WHAbp WhAbp
Learning from Vicki's demonstrations, Vera has learned to clap her hand over her mouth while singing so that her voice gets chopped up. The easiest way to explain it is the least PC: its like the indian style hollering we did on the playground as kids. Its so freakin' cute.
The Army Crawl
You gotta learn to crawl before you learn to walk. And Vera had to learn to do the funky slithering army crawl before doing the real crawl. The funniest and coolest part of how she did it was one legged. Her left leg would just drag and the right one did all the work in the back end.
That was all three weeks ago - now she's totally crawling normally (and quickly). Up go the baby gates....

Baby goes up. Crib bottom goes Down.
Vera is strong and big. We've been considering (procrastinating) the lowering of her crib bottom for a few weeks now. Today was the day after Vicki saw her go to this position:
So cute. And then so dangerous. So down goes the crib bottom to keep our lil' peanut safe in bed.
Also we're predicting she'll climb out of the crib much sooner than Griff did - he's already demonstrated several times how its done, and she's a watcher.

Ouuuuch
Dear Tylenol and Ibuprofen,
Thanks for all your help during my rough patch in teething. After a few nights of crying, fevers, fussiness, and pain, my giant front tooth popped through today.
Sincerely,
Vera
